Arthur
Projet PAL is a drop in center in Verdun, QC for people experiencing mental health challenges.
They hired us to make this film for their 50th anniversary gala. Angela Murphy, a social worker who worked for Projet PAL for nearly 40 years, narrates the tale of Arthur, a Projet PAL participant who was institutionalized and lobotomized for his sexual orientation in the late 1940s, but went on to live a vibrant life through the help of Projet PAL. In Arthur's words: 'It didn't take".
Written and narrated by: Angela Murphy
